Random Pic: Kanye & Amber Rose Support PETA...

...that's why they went fur crazy during fashion week over in Paris.

No but seriously, I'm about 2,000,000% sure (word to Maury Povich) that those coats aren't made out of animal fur. So before PETA gets their hypocritical panties in a bunch and start throwing paint on Mr. West and his Rose, I suggest they do a bit of research. I don't think any animals were harmed or killed in making of those coats. I mean let's not jump to conclusions here...I'm guessing that those coats are either fake or they're made out of...

...Monique's fur.

After seeing her legs it may be up for debate as to whether she's an animal, but one thing is certain...she's alive and doesn't appear to have been harmed in any way. You can find her every night on BET screaming for no apparent reason. See there PETA....we can all take a deep breath and relax.

Btw if her legs are that damn hairy, I'm nauseous at the thought of what other parts of her body look like. Yep....just threw up a lil' bit in my mouth.

Movin' on, I'd like to dedicate the following to Mr. West...

Drake - Forever...

feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem.

I said it before and I'll say it again...Em bodied this damn song. I swear this is the Eminem that should've been rapping on Relapse. Anywho, people can talk about Jay all they want, but I don't think there's a rapper out there that wants it with Em.

Hype Williams directed the video. Ummm I hope Hype isn't still charging a $1,000,000+ for his videos because they damn sure don't seem worth it anymore. But then again were they ever really? Not knocking him artistically...that's just a lot of damn money.

Btw you really should have this already...

If George Bush Hates Black People...

...you're not doing anything to change his mind Kanye.

If you happened to have caught MTV's Video Music Awards last night, then you witnessed Kanye's most ignorant award show spaz moment to date. If you missed it, here's what happened...

*updated video at the end of the post*

This isn't the first time Mr. West has been to an award show and acted like a spoiled lil' rich bitch who's just been told she won't be getting a Range Rover for her birthday on an episode of MTV's Sweet Sixteen. He's known for his childish reactions to award show winners, but this time takes the cake for a few reasons...

1.) This Had Everything To Do With You...
Okay, not so much. Last time I checked Beyonce, Daddy Knowles & Mr. Carter all had voices. If any of them felt as though Beyonce was slighted I'm sure they were more than capable of voicing their opinions. I don't agree with him spazzin' out about awards that he doesn't win, but at least it's regarding his feelings about his own hard work.

2.) Beyonce's Soooo Underrated...
Thanks Kanye. Lord knows Beyonce's been on the music scene for years and she's yet to receive any sort of recognition for her talent.

Good Job sticking up for the little person. GTFOH, I don't think there's one person on this Earth who felt sorry for Beyonce when she didn't win that award. Nobody was sitting around going, "Awww that's bullshit...Beyonce never wins anything!!!" Trust me when I say, Beyonce was not going to lose any sleep over not winning that metallic astronaut. Beyonce knows that she has the game on lock. Just go to a club and watch all of the women's reaction when a Beyonce song comes on.

3.) Spazzin' On Taylor Swift...Now That's Gangsta...
The one thing that I've noticed about Kanye and his award show antics/comments is that he only disrespects people that he knows won't beat his ass. Gretchen Wilson (2004 American Music Awards),
Justice vs. Simian (2006 Europe Music Awards) and now Taylor Swift have all felt the toddler like wrath of Mr. West. But we've yet to see him run up on 50 Cent, Flo-rida, Rick Ross or anybody else that would potentially slap the shit out of him. Hell, I don't think he would've done that shit to Pink. He could've ran up on Pink if he wanted to...she would've beat the leather shirt off his ass. That just goes to show he's fully aware and selective about what he says and does...so I don't even want to hear that "blame it on the alcohol" bullshit.

4.) "George Bush Hates Black People"...

Well Mr. West if every one of us had the same amount of class and maturity that you tend to display at award shows....it's understandable. Fortunately, that's not the case, but I'll be damn if you don't give him and any other person outside of our race the ammunition they need to send racist shots our way...it's called coonery.

Well, in Kanye's defense he did post what I guess he feels like is an apology...
"I'm not crazy yall. I'm just real" WTF!?! Since when did being real equate to being rude, ignorant and completely classless?

Yeah, you're real Ye'....a real asshole. But then again, at least you didn't do this...

The Yellow One...

...has released quite a few songs over the past week. I'm sure most of you have these already, but for those of you who don't...

Drake - Fear
Ummm this is the type of song that makes all of these half ass rappers realize how much of a problem this guy really is.

Birdman aka Baby - Money To Blow Ft. Drake & Lil' Wayne
I posted this song last week....once again, here's the deal: This song is old. The original version came out over a year ago...before everybody set up permanent residency on Drizzy's balls. Anywho, the original was made by some guy named Jerz Y.A. and it featured Drake ------> Jerz Y.A. - Money To Blow Ft. Drake

Drake - Forever Ft. Kanye West, Lil' Wayne & Eminem
Here we go again, another old ass Drake song that's been recycled. I really was looking forward to hearing this...until I heard it and recognized the beat and the hook were on a song that Drake dropped about a year ago. I must say, Em showed his ass on here though. Btw Drake's verse was better on the original-----> Drake - Forever Ft. Lil' Wayne & Kid Kid

Lil' Wayne - My Darlin' Baby Ft. Drake

Wayne would like to dedicate this song to Toya, Nivea, Lauren London, the random stripper who had his son not too long ago and all the girls in the world that he wishes he could f@#k. He's such a charmer....you ladies should feel extremely special. P.S. You're all one of a kind.

Jay-Z - Run This Town...

...featuring Kanye West and Rihanna.

After 3 completely unnecessary previews, the video for Jay-Z's "California Love" "Run This Town" is finally here. I thought there would've been more hype surrounding the release of the video for "D.O.A.", but everybody's been salivating over the premiere of this video...I don't get it. But just in case you're wondering, I actually like the song...and the video.

Bonus:

You should already have these...
Jay-Z - D.O.A. (Death of Auto-tune)
Jay-Z - Jockin' Jay-Z

The album cover, official tracklist and my thoughts (so far) on The Blueprint 3 can be found after the jump.

1.) I REALLY like the cover for this album. It's a complete departure from the standard "Hey I'm Jay-Z, here's a random head shot or pose" album cover he's used for the last 10 albums.

2.) I HATE that he named this album The Blueprint 3. I figured he would've left well enough alone after The Blueprint 2, but I guess not. Am I the only one that feels like there shouldn't be any sequels to classic albums?

3.) Out of the 15 tracks on this album, 11 of them have guest appearances. Go back and look at Jay's discography...his best albums, Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint and The Black Album, which are considered classics, had a very small number of songs with guest appearances. The albums that were flooded with guest appearances were good...but they weren't great. More Jay + Less Guests = Better Album

4.) Track number 5 is titled, "Empire State of Mind" and it features Alicia Keys....where in the hell is Nas?

Kanye West - Spaceship & Paranoid...

Kanye West Ft. GLC, Consequence & Tony Williams - Spaceship

Man, this was my shit off of The College Dropout!! I don't think you understand...this album came out during my last semester of college. I worked 3 jobs my last semester of school so this song was...I can't even explain it...it was that real.

That line Ye' had about assaulting his manager...lets just say I can relate. No I didn't assault my manager...I just threatened to...never mind...

A few words from GLC and Kanye's official video for "Paranoid" after the jump.

GLC had this to say about the release of the "Spaceship" video...

First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04. I no longer wanna deprive the people of their rights! You have the right to embrace my concept as well as those of Kanye, Consequence & Tony Williams as we gave you our all! This is a story of triumph over the ills of society & the workforce interfering with your pimpin’ & in this time of a recession this record may be more relevant now than it was in 2004! Thank for letting me grow with you! Love, Life & Loyalty coming soon! Hello World! Oh yeah my player is fixed too sorry about the prior non pimpish auto-play!

Here's the Kanye approved version of "Paranoid".

The-Dream - Walkin' On The Moon...

...featuring Kanye West.

Teddy Ruxpin aka The Hamburglar The "radio killa" missed the mark with this video, it fits the song but for some reason it just seems wack. Maybe it's me but lately Hype Williams' videos don't seem like they're worth the million dollars he's been known to charge.

Why do videos seem so boring nowadays...remember when people use to be excited about "World Premieres"?

Kanye West - Paranoid...

Starring every man's favorite camera phone pic takin' R&B singer.

Her and Ye are must be really cool...that would explain why she was seen leaving his place the other day. I swear the media's been real thirsty lately, trying to link Rihanna to anybody but Chris.

Kanye's Louis Vuitton Ad Campaign...

Look at Amber getting her model on. She's definitely benefiting from this relationship...traveling around the world, modeling and who knows what's next. I'm not mad at her...in the words of the Classical Greek philosopher Socrates....

"We just using what we got to get what we want."

...oh wait, that was that wack ass stripper from The Player's Club. Anywho, more pics after the jump....

Btw Kanye's Black Louis Vuitton Jasper's > Kanye's Black Air Yeezy's

Kanye's Shoes = Theo's Gordon Gartrelle Shirt...

"No 14-year-old boy should have a $95 shirt unless he's on stage with his 4 brothers" - Bill Cosby

You can go ahead and apply the same logic to Kanye's highly anticipated Nike Air Yeezy's and Louis Voutton sneakers. The Air Yeezys drop tomorrow and will retail for $215 and I'm sure by now you've heard about the pricing for the LV sneakers which drop sometime in June, and cost between $840 to $1,140. Now as far as his LV sneakers, I wouldn't expect them to cost $100...they're Louis Voutton. Now the Air Yeezy's are a totally different story, these are Nikes...$215?? Seriously?

At those prices, these shoes are gonna be some of the most bootlegged shoes in Louis Voutton and Nike's history.

But back to the Air Yeezy's, I know a lot of you are like "that's not that expensive...Kanye designed them...he be at fashion shows...I like his music...." Yeah, yeah, whatever, here's how I look at it...

Michael Jordan...you might've heard of him. He played basketball. Here are some of his stats:
  • 2 Olympic Gold Medals

  • 6 NBA Championships

  • NCAA National Championship: 1982

  • 5 NBA MVP Awards

  • 6 NBA Finals MVP Awards

  • 10x NBA Leading Scorer

  • 10x All-NBA First Team

  • All-NBA Second Team: 1984/85

  • 14x NBA All-Star Game

  • 3x NBA All-Star Game MVP

  • 9x NBA All-Defensive Team

  • NBA Defensive Player of the Year: 1987/88

  • NBA Rookie of the Year: 1984/85

  • 2x NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner

  • ACC Freshman of the Year: 1982

  • ACC Men's Basketball Player of the Year: 1984

  • USBWA College Player of the Year: 1984

  • Naismith College Player of the Year: 1984

  • John R. Wooden Award: 1984

  • Adolph Rupp Trophy: 1984

  • Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year: 1991

  • Ranked #1 by SLAM Magazine's Top 75 Players of All-Time

  • Ranked #1 by ESPN Sportscentury's Top 100 Athletes of the 20th century
Not bad huh? With that said, there's only been one pair of Jordans that retailed for $200 or more upon their initial nationwide release...The Air Jordan 17. So how did that turn out?...

"The Air Jordan 17 came with a Jumpman embossed metal carrying case...in the lid of the carrying case a CD-rom could be found."

"When you decide to add a metal case and a CD something tells you the production cost must rise quite a bit. This also seemed to be the case as the Air Jordan 17 had a retail price at $200. Retailers everywhere had problems convincing people that $200 for a pair of shoes was worth it and many retailers cut prices down to $160 which was the retail price of the Air Jordan 16."

via NiceKicks.com

So I guess my question is, has Ye' done for music what Jordan did for basketball?...

Btw, I know Theo got to keep the shirt...but, he was a 14yr old with no fiscal responsibilty whose father was a doctor and his mother was a lawyer. If that's your current situation, I only have one question...when you go to purchase your LV shoes could you pick me up a size 13 or 14 (not sure how LV shoes run)?

New Kanye, Cam'ron....

Kanye West (Feat. T-Pain) - Flight School
*yawn* um this was supposed to be for GLC's album...

Cam'ron - I Used To Get It In Ohio
Killlaaaaa!!!!

Kanye's Girl Got A Girlfriend...

...at least that's that word.If you haven't heard Ye's supposedly dating model/video vixen Amber Rose. Well Amber's former or current boo (depends on who you ask) isn't too happy about that.

Something tells me that Kanye isn't losin' any sleep over this...have you seen her Smooth Magazine spread?

Kanye West Covers Details...

In the March issue of Details, Kanye talks about a few things like his fashion style, his clothing line Pastelle, the word "gay" and his first beat.

Where did his inspiration for his first beat come from? Read that after the jump...I think you'll find it somewhat interesting.

"First beat I did...was in seventh grade, on my computer. I got into doing beats for the video games I used to try to make. My game was very sexual. The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I'm 12 years old, and this is stuff 30-year-olds are programming. You'd have to draw in and program every little step—it literally took me all night to do a step, 'cause the penis, y'know, had little feet and eyes."

Ummm...okay, am I the only one that finds that a little weird? Oh well, I guess that's path he needed to take to get to where he's at.

To read the entire interview go to Details.

Random Quote: Kanye West

Last week Kanye talked about The Blueprint 3 on Sway and King Tech's "Wake Up Show."
"I finished his album and he released four songs that were potentially gonna be on the album, so I gotta go back and do four. I just did one beat the other day in Hawaii — probably one of the best hip-hop beats of all time, if I do say so myself. I just gotta do three more beats and we're done, 'cause he's got classics. He's got songs that are better than any of the things you've heard leaked."

"You know what it was — every year I do two albums' worth of really dope beats, this year, Common did his album with Pharrell, and I did 808s & Heartbreak and Blueprint 3. So just imagine the caliber of beats on the last two Common albums I did — Jay-Z has those types of beats. Those caliber of beats. A beat like 'The People,' that's the highest caliber of beat."

If this was anybody else I would call bullshit...but it's Ye' and he's earned the right to be arrogant about his production. I will say that by calling this The Blueprint 3, the bar for this album has been set pretty high. Especially since The Blueprint was 10x > The Blueprint 2.

Kanye Covers VIBE...

In the February issue of VIBE Kanye talks about 808 & Heartbreaks and the "message behind" the album:

"There’s guys out there, nobody spoke on our behalf before. Whatever about the singing. F*ck all the singing, f*ck all the Auto-Tune, f*ck the He’s A Rapper, he’s not a rapper, he’s going through something, he has to get this out of his system, he’s crazy. F*ck all that. It’s men out there who have never had anyone to speak on their behalf about the way they feel in a relationship. We don’t feel like, ‘F*ck you, bitch, I’m going to f*ck a whole bunch of girls’. NO! We feel hurt. We feel pain. Like, ‘Damn, why would you say something like that to me? Damn, I LOVE YOU. Damn, I want to have a family. Damn, I want to find someone to raise my kids. Damn, my baby mama’s a bitch. Or she’s not a bitch’."

Usually I would use this opportunity to make fun of Ye'...but I got the message loud and clear and couldn't agree with him more.
BTW VIBE has also picked what they feel are Kanye's 10 Worst and 10 Best songs.

Ever Wonder Where He Gets It From?

It's no surprise that Kanye uses samples a lot. This video just shows you where he gets them from. Some of them are pretty obvious while there are quite a few that aren't...

Say what you want about Yeezy and his use of samples, but I like to see you take an old song and transform it into a Top 100 hit. Yeah, I said "100", I'm not even asking for a Top 10 hit...whether you like him or not, you gotta admit the guy's a genius.

Okay, now time to go and download all of those originals...

Kanye West - Heartless

Here's the mastered version.

Kanye West - Heartless

Maybe I need to hear the whole album?

I mean really, ask yourself, if one of your friends played this for you and told you it was his cousins demo what would you think?
