...you knew it was coming.
Quick Question: What does Skillz do for a living? Cuz droppin 1 song a year doesn't qualify you as a rapper.

New Yung Berg, Mims, R. Kelly...

Yung Berg - Outerspace
Call me 16 yrs old...but I f*cks wit this.

Mims Feat. Biggie - Bread n' Butter
The Biggie sample is the only reason this got posted.

R. Kelly Feat. Shaggy - Flex
Reminds me of 'Freaky In The Club'...that's not a bad thing.

Mr. Male Fur Coat Wearer

Gucci Bandannas, Louis Vuitton Table Cloths Scarfs, Stunna Shades and a Bluetooth Headset (w/blinking blue light) are all essential items that the young professional, sophisticated, educated, swagger having, male socialite has to have in his arsenal of nightlife attire/accessories.

While those items are as timeless as jean shorts and towel coats, the current winter season calls for another swagger enhancing classic…The Fur Coat.

In an effort to celebrate the fact that you’re bound to see at least one, if not several, grown ass men with Fake Fur Coats on in the club this winter, I present....

Bud Light’s Real Men of Genius - Mr. Male Fur Coat Wearer

Keith Sweat Is In Love...

...with Chicken McNuggets? Apparently, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Chicken McNugget and as a result Mr. Sweat has decided to pay homage in the form of a short serenade.
So there's only two reasons why he would agree to do this, either A.) he's really broke or B.) he's really in love McNuggets...I'm gonna go with A.

Keith Sweat - McNuggets

If you love McNuggets as much he does then you should stop by the McNuggets Lover's Club. Kanye, Diddy, anybody, please sample some old Keith Sweat music so he can get a check...and please do it before the Big Mac's anniversary.

Drake - Say What's Real

Okay, first Tyrese/Black Ty went in over this beat...and it was wack. Then Trey Songs decided to go in and I thought his version was cool. Now I guess it's Drake's turn...

BTW he's rapping...

Drake - Say What's Real

This is old, but since I have it...
Drake Ft. Lil' Wayne - Brand New (Remix)
Wayne sounds like he's on the toilet.

T Baby - It's So Cold In The D

It's official we're in a recession...

Okay…I know that when Barack won the Presidential Election he gave people in the US and around the world a greater sense of hope. People now believe that they can achieve feats that may have seemed impossible before, and children are now believing more than ever that “You can be anything if you put your mind to it”

Well, that’s complete BULLSH*T and T Baby is a prime example of it. She will never, and I mean never, be a successful rap artist. Matter of fact, she’ll never be successful at any profession that requires her to talk.

My people…please have a plan B, C and if possible D, because your plan A may be a joke and the laughs on you.

Random Quote: Curtis "Vitamin Water" Jackson...

50 was recently interviewed by XXL for the Jan./Dec. issue. When asked why he never responded to Nas' slight diss on “Queens Get the Money,” he went on to express his opinion on Nas' current status in music:

"Man, Nas is cold as ice. Nas is the block of ice that sunk the Titanic… I didn’t even hear his record. I didn’t even hear what you talking about…I really don’t want to talk about Nas."

"I think he’s at one of those points to where his career’s finished, to be honest. He’s had some great moments and made good music in the past, but he no longer has the interest of the general public or myself."

To read more excerpts from the interview/cover story go to XXL.

Top 10 Murdered Rappers

Isn't that a f*cked up countdown? Yeah well, Askmen.com just dropped their list of the Top 10 Murdered Rappers. Surprise, surprise...2Pac came in at number 1. I know, who would've guessed? Considering the fact that Mr. Shakur is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-selling hip hop artist ever, with over 75 million albums sold worldwide, including over 50 million in the United States.

For the entire list go to Askmen.com.

Side Note: I never have to hear another random 2Pac verse ever again. I mean his verses have been randomly added to any and every artists' song from Michael Jackson to Britney Spears (I wish I was lying...but I'm not). Please just let the man rest in peace....

Ever Wonder Where He Gets It From?

It's no surprise that Kanye uses samples a lot. This video just shows you where he gets them from. Some of them are pretty obvious while there are quite a few that aren't...

Say what you want about Yeezy and his use of samples, but I like to see you take an old song and transform it into a Top 100 hit. Yeah, I said "100", I'm not even asking for a Top 10 hit...whether you like him or not, you gotta admit the guy's a genius.

Okay, now time to go and download all of those originals...

R.I.P. MC Breed...

By now I'm sure you've heard that he passed away last week in his sleep while at a friend's home in Michigan. Back in September, Breed was hospitalized and placed on life-support after he collapsed when his kidneys failed during a game of pickup basketball. He had been recently released from the hospital and was awaiting a donor for a kidney transplant. A noon service for Eric T. "MC" Breed is being held tomorrow in Flint, Michigan.

Classics...

Jim Jones Covers Complex...

He looks like he stinks. He reminds me of Pig-Pen. I mean regardless of how neat he tries to be, he always looks like he smells...bad...really bad. If he came out with a cologne I'm sure it would smell of pine cones, Newport Cigarettes, sweat, Hennessey, chicken grease, marijuana, and mahogany.

To read Pig-Pen's interview, where he talks about Jay, Kanye & Cam'ron, go to Complex.

Need A Good Lawyer?

Then look no further than Peter "P' Ta Mon" John.
Unfortunately, this is a real ad. He's known as "The Thugs Lawyer". Nothing says "I want to go jail" more than showing up to criminal court with this guy as your lawyer. I mean why stop with him, you might as well wear a t-shirt that says "Yes I did it. Go F*ck yourself your honor".

BTW he's a Reggae artist too.

Beyonce = Wonder Woman?

As much as I despise the words 'swag' and 'swagger'...if they're gonna be used let em be in reference to him.

Why Does Everybody Hate This Guy?

Ken Sander was the host of several public access shows in NY back in the early 90s. During this episode New Yorkers clearly express how they feel about gun control...and him. Warning: NSFW Language

New T-Pain, Jay-Z, 88 Keys...

T-Pain Ft. Justin Timberlake - Can't Believe [Remix]
Not Justin too....damn you autotune.....

Jay-Z - History (Full Album Version)
Perfect timing.

88-Keys Ft. Redman - The Burning Bush
The title is self-explanatory.

Don't Run Up On Katt Williams...

...cuz he keeps a pistol on him at all times. Lil' man was arrested Thursday in NYC for weapons possession after cops noticed three guns inside his car (yes I said 3 guns). He spent most of Thursday in jail and later posted $25K bond at Manhattan Criminal Court. Afterwards, he went on to perform at his sold-out show at Carnegie Hall.
Damn, he was arrested back in '06 at LAX for having guns in both his carry-on and checked bags (yes I said guns). Can you blame him though? I mean it's not like he could really fight somebody toe-to-toe if they ran up on him. There's only one lesson to be learned be here: Katt Williams will shoot yo ass.

For more info go to MTV.

BTW check out the cartoon version of his standup bit "Gangsta Tigers" here.

When Keeping It Real Stupid Goes Wrong...

In Chicago, after Obama was announced the winner of the Presidential Election, police responded to a crowd of people celebrating Obama's win on the corner of 69th Street and Western Avenue. Celita Hart, 19, who is black, yelled " 'White B*tch, F*ck McCain--you white police can't do nothing anymore.'" With that, she reached through the window of a squad car and slapped a white male officer in the face, according to Assistant State's Atty. Lorraine Scaduto.

Hart who resides on the 7100 block of South Rockwell Street, was charged with aggravated battery of a police officer and was ordered her held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Apparently her dumb ass forgot that despite the fact that Obama won the election, police can still arrest people.

A New Hero Has Emerged.

Clark Kent ain't got sh*t on him.

Nas - Election Night

Nas and DJ Green Lantern was recorded this today...

Nas - Election Night

It's short, sweet and to the point.

Random Quote: Beyonce, Sasha Fierce (WTF?), Mrs. Carter...

Beyonsafierce was recently interviewed by Giant Magazine and finally spoke on her marriage to Jay-Z.

“This is like my first relationship,” she says. “I’m very private and, of course, I don’t talk about it, but I’m very, very happy. That’s all I’ll say."

"We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush. We don’t have a normal relationship because of our careers. But celebrity or not, you go through the exact same things. We’re not perfect.”

She goes on to talk about floods, old Destiny Child members, breakdowns, Sasha Fierce (WTF?), Etta James, yada, yada, yada put a ring on it....click here to read the rest.

Go Vote....Get Free Stuff.

If you're not motivated to go and vote despite the fact that gas is high, you're about to get laid off, the credit market is non-existent, home foreclosures are rampant and over 2,700 soilders have died in Iraq since the start of the war (3/19/03)......then maybe the fact that Crispy Creme, Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's are all giving away free stuff for voting will be enough motivation for you to get up off of your fat lazy ass and go vote.

Random Quote: Soulja Boy

For BET's Black Carpet Soulja Boy was asked, “What historical figure do you most hate?” Soulja Boy was having trouble coming up with an answer so Toure' offered some examples by stating, "Others have said Hitler, bin Laden, the slave masters..."

To which Soulja Boy replied, "Oh wait! Hold up! Shout out to the slave masters! Without them we'd still be in Africa. We wouldn't be here to get this ice and tattoos."

He needs his ass whooped...low-end, south side style, I'm talking an old school "you in violation" mouth shot. If this place was still around he'd be their mascot.

I Had Some Problems...

...and no one could seem to solve them. No one but crack cocaine.

El DeBarge was arrested earlier this month for possession of a controlled substance and was being held without bond.

On Tuesday Mr. Patrick Eldra DeBarge was sentenced to 2 years in the California State Prison in Lancaster for violating the conditions of his parole on a 2007 drug possession charge.

That's f*cked up..."The Rhythm of the Night" is about to take on a whole new meaning. His high yellow, high-pitched singing ass is going to the state pen...pray for him. If you've ever danced to "Stay With Me" at the end of a party, please say at least 1 prayer for him.

Drake & Trey Songs - Pop Rosé

Here's some ish to party to this wknd.

Drake & Trey Songs - Pop Rosé

Please don't go out and "Pop Rosé" this weekend just because of this damn song. By the way if you are so easily influenced, their referring to Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 1996 (retail price $469).

Side Note: Please stop wearing those designer scarves around your neck. I know it's made by Louis Vuitton and I know Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye are wearing them...so it's cool right? No, it's not...you look like an urban cowboy.

If you were wearing them before it became "cool" then keep doing you...but I know 99% of you weren't.

Riskay - Smell Yo D*ck

Yeah...that's not a typo. Apparently, this has been out for a while so I'm a little late. Ghetto Mentality + Pure Ignorance + WTF? = This Video.
Warning: Obviously NSFW

Um...where do I start? Strippers named Diamond? Riskay is gonna pull out her nine? Is that supposed to be lingerie that Riskay is wearing? Why are the people in the club dancing to this?

Royce Da 5'9 - Shake This

Detroit's been going in lately...Elzhi (The Preface), Black Milk (Tronic), Royce (random songs) and Eminem (he's back, listen here).

Sarah Palin vs. Terry Tate

I wish this was how the interview really went...

"Somebody just got a weekly subscription to Terry’s Journal of Pain, and the first issue’s free baby!!!"

This broad can't answer a simple f*ckin question. She's like the political version of a Magic 8 Ball, she has about 4 answers that she uses regardless of the question.

Interviewer: "Governor Palin, what did you have for dinner?"
Palin: "John McCain's a Maverick."
Interviewer: "What?"
Palin: "Drill, Baby, Drill!"
Interviewer: "Governor Palin, again, what did you have for dinner?"
Palin: "John McCain is the only candidate who actually fought for you!"
Interviewer: "F*ck It."

Who Is This Guy?

No, he's not the CEO of some random company nor is he some legendary martial artist. He's actually the World's Oldest Porn Star...yep, that's a little bit of vomit you're tasting in your mouth right now. His name is Shigeo Tokuda and he is a 74-year-old Japanese porn star.

He was recently interviewed and had this to say about his career, "I've been doing this for 14 and a half years, and I’ve been in around 250 films so far....lately I’m also starring as the main actor in a porn series set in a senior-care home."

And on his ability to perform, "..my performance is often affected by my costar. Depending on who they are, I’ll instinctually think, 'Yes, this one’s going to be good' or 'I might have a little trouble today.'"

Did you catch that? He's been doing this for just over 14 years and he's 74, which means he started at 60. I'm not sure what to think here, it's disgusting, yet inspiring. For the entire interview go to Vice Magazine.

Black Milk - Losing Out

This is off of Black Milk's album Tronic which drops October 28th.

Black Milk feat. Royce Da 5'9 - Losing Out

If you're looking for anything besides good music, look elsewhere. No Gucci Bandannas over here.

I Choose You...

Fact: Every year at least one rapper uses a line from "The Mack" in a song or interlude. Warning: NSFW Language

Yes...that was a sword. A pimp with a sword? I'm so confused. That's like a samurai with a AK-47.

Top 49 Men of 2008

Guess who's number 1. Despite the fact that in the past they both made wack ass songs about being no. 1, it's not Nelly or Diddy.

If it wasn't obvious from his picture, Barack Obama came in at number 1.

Why? "For millions of young guys voting for the first time, Barack Obama isn’t a symbol of change -- he is the emissary of their legacy."

"His arrival tells them that they aren’t doomed to inherit the archaic cynicism of their parents, but are free to entertain their own hopes and dreams."

MC Hammer Only Came In 2nd...

...on Cracked.com's list of 6 Famous People Who Pissed Away a Fortune.

At one point "Hammer employed 200 people, with an annual payroll of $6.8 million" and his $20 million mansion "featured Italian marble floors, a bowling alley, recording studio, 33-seat theater, 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, 17 car garage and, no joke, a gold toilet." The man had a gold toilet?...but why?

SMH This is a prime example of "They should've never gave you ni**as money!!" BTW Mike Tyson came in at number 6. For the entire list go to Cracked.com.

Beyonce - Single Ladies Video

This song sounds exactly like "Get Me Bodied". Oh, if you're wondering why I posted this video just wait until 0:51 mark.

Yep, that's why I posted this video.

New Macs...

...were unveiled today. The MacBook and the MacBook Pro have been redesigned with aluminum unibody enclosures and new, smooth glass Multi-Touch trackpads.

John McCain's Economic Experience...

"The current economic crisis demands that we understand John McCain's attitudes about economic oversight and corporate influence in federal regulation. Nothing illustrates the danger of his approach more clearly than his central role in the savings and loan scandal of the late '80s and early '90s.

John McCain was accused of improperly aiding his political patron, Charles Keating, chairman of the Lincoln Savings and Loan Association. The Keating scandal is eerily similar to today's credit crisis, where a lack of regulation and cozy relationships between the financial industry and Congress has allowed banks to make risky loans and profit by bending the rules. And in both cases, John McCain's judgment and values have placed him on the wrong side of history."

For the entire story visit Keating Economics.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown Video

Ummm...I don't know how I feel about this one.
Either I'm not that deep, or I just need to watch it again. Then again I'm not too crazy about the song.

Drizzy SLU Freestyle

Here is Drake's version of "Swagger Like Us". Hopefully this song doesn't turn into the new "A Millie"...even Ben Vereen had a freestyle over that beat.

By the way this is the first and the last SLU freestyle I will be posting...I don't care if Jesus raps over this beat. Okay, I'd probably post a Jesus version...just out respect.

I'm Back!....Go Register To Vote.

If you couldn't tell from the title...I'm back. I know all of the 5 people that read my blog before are extremely excited. So before I start posting useless information I'll start with this......GO REGISTER TO VOTE (if you're not registered already).
