Mya Is On The Cover of Vibe Vixen...

Guess Who...

Blind item via Myra Panache:

When female rappers Foxy and Kim were hot several years ago, another female rapper was desperate to achieve their fame but she never came close. Instead, she was on the outside looking in at the success of Foxy and Kim. She yearned and envied their fame and popularity but this didn’t stop her from giving the illusion of success due to celebrity peer pressure. She was fronting all over town, telling people she paid cash for her home, when in reality, the house was rented. Her bling was also borrowed (from jewelers) and her luxurious car was leased. Her fans had no idea that she was barely scrapping by. Her rap career is just about over and it’s doubtful that she’ll ever receive royalty checks (for significant amounts) because the majority of her record sales were low. For survival, recently, she has begun to date dope boys (exclusively) to help out with the bills. Hint: This female rapper is very well known in the black community and it’s not Remy Ma.

Jay-Z Doesn't Pay...

...his employees according to Celeste Williams, a former server at the 40/40 Club. She's accused the jigga man and the company that owns the 40/40, Twenty Ones, Inc., of not even paying her minimum wage. She also alleges that the club held back tips from servers and that she got stiffed for overtime she worked. Furthermore, Williams' lawyers say in the complaint that there are "more than 100" other 40/40 employees who will join the lawsuit. Williams is seeking unspecified damages. Damn Jay...ain't no love in the heart of the city or the 40/40 Club, huh?

Oh yeah, Mr. 99 Problems and Damon Dash have been hit with a $15 million dollar lawsuit by a Philadelphia man, who claims that Roc-A-Fella stole the concept of the hit movie State Property from his novel. For more info go to AllHipHop.com.
