"Nappy Headed Hos"...
...is the phrase Don Imus, the host of MSNBC's Imus in the Morning, used to refer to the Rutgers University women's basketball team on the April 4th edition of his show. Oh yeah, this is after the show's executive producer, Bernard McGuirk, called the team "hard-core hos." McGuirk later compared the NCAA women's basketball championship game between Rutgers and Tennessee to the movie School Daze by Spike Lee, going on to say it was like "The Jigaboos vs. The Wannabees."
I mean damn...did they forget that they were on the air? Why half-step Imus?...you might as well do your show with a burning cross in the background while wearing a Klan hood made out of a Confederate Flag. Some people are saying he should be fired for his comments, while others are saying he has a right to say what he wants. What do you think?
